Curriculum Vitae: 

Justin Cosner is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Departments of English and History. His interests include speculative and fantastical literatures, the short story genre, religion and secularity, and nineteenth century American literature. His article “The Flow of Narrative: Misleading Structures and Uncertain Faiths in Wieland” (2014) was published in The Iowa Journal of Cultural Studies. His current research focuses on nineteenth century American supernatural short stories by Charles Chesnutt, Mary Wilkins Freeman, and Herman Melville.
