Thomas Humphrey is a writer and journalist from Ocala, Florida. He earned BAs in classics and history at Washington University in St. Louis before becoming a staff writer at the Vineyard Gazette. His work has been recognized for four consecutive years by the New England Newspaper and Press Association, including first-place awards in the History, Obituary, and "Racial, Ethnic or Gender Issue" categories.
