Get to know Teddy

Teddy Wimer is an MFA student in the Nonfiction Writing Program. They graduated cum laude from Princeton University with a BA in Religion. They work in community radio and frequently produce freeform radio shows as Peppermint Pig with their show, "In the Trough". They're interested in writing about music, art, and culture, and is working on essays about grief & uncertainty through the lens of Hilma af Klint's work, Arthur Russell's life and work, and fat women & nonbinary singers and performers. They also host a talk radio show on KRUI with fellow MFA student, Emily Hoff, where they interview nonfiction writers in Iowa City.
