Spencer Lane Jones is the CLAS Visiting Writer in Nonfiction. She was a Marcus Bach Fellow at the University of Iowa in Spring 2025. Her essays are forthcoming in Sewanee Review and Bennington Review and she has written previously for Radio Journal: International Studies in Broadcast & Audio Media, Hopkins Review, Black Warrior Review, and other publications.
