Sophia Craig is a first-year English Ph.D. student interested in 19/20th century American Literature, the theory of psychoanalysis, and Book studies. She plans to tutor in University of Iowa’s Writing Center as well as research psychological and societal interpretations of American texts.
Prior to the University of Iowa, Sophia earned her B.A. at Purdue University in English literature and creative writing. She also tutored at Purdue’s Writing Lab as well as developed content for Purdue OWL. Sophia currently serves as an English instructor at the University of Iowa, focusing on the foundations, theory, and practice of English literary studies.
