Get to Know Hana

Hana Kim (she/they) is a PhD student in English at the University of Iowa. They are particularly interested in the relationship between fanfiction/fan reading cultures and 20th/21st publishing industry, culture, and literature. She is also one of the organizers for Craft, Critique, Culture (CCC), the University of Iowa’s Department of English interdisciplinary graduate conference.

Prior to coming to the University of Iowa, they received my BLAS degree in English and Global Studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She also had a brief stint in the publishing world.
