Thomas Mira y Lopez is the author of The Book of Resting Places (Counterpoint Press). He holds MFAs in Creative Writing from the University of Arizona and Literary Translation from the University of Iowa. He is a fiction editor at DIAGRAM and a founding editor of Territory, a literary project about maps. He translates from Portuguese and is originally from New York.
