Corey Campbell has worked for The Nonfiction Writing Program and the English & Creative Writing major since 2017. She became the Managing Editor of Philological Quarterly in 2020. In addition to coordinating, she writes fiction and volunteers on a national suicide helpline.
Corey's fiction has appeared in journals including Story, The Gettysburg Review, Colorado Review, Nashville Review, and the anthology Buffalo Cactus and Other New Stories from the Southwest. She has received support from the Sewanee Writers' Conference, the Community of Writers, the University of Houston, and the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. A contributing editor for the literary journal Waxwing, she was awarded the 2021 Larry Levis Postgraduate Prize in Fiction from the Warren Wilson MFA Program for Writers. In addition to her MFA from Warren Wilson, she has a film degree from NYU.
