Get to know Austin

Austin Araujo is a student in the Nonfiction Writing Program. He is the recipient of a Wallace Stegner Fellowship from Stanford University and he earned his MFA in Poetry from Indiana University. His work has appeared in Poetry, Gulf Coast, TriQuarterly, and Cleveland Review of Books. His debut poetry collection, At the Park on the Edge of the Country, won the 2023 Charles B. Wheeler Prize and is forthcoming from Mad Creek Books.
