May 05, 2020

Nonfiction writer Lulu Dewey, who graduates from The Nonfiction Writing Program this spring, has received the annual Carl Klaus Teaching Award. The honor, named after NWP founder Carl Klaus and judged by current NWP faculty, is given each year to a third-year NWP student whose teaching in nonfiction courses has been exemplary. As this year's recipient, Dewey will receive a $500 prize and the well-wishes of her peers.
