Living Oil in the USA: An Abridged Petrol Diary

Stephanie LeMenager is Moore Professor of Literature and the Environment at the University of Oregon.  A graduate of Stanford and Harvard Universities, Professor LeMenager is author of Living Oil:  Petroleum and Culture in the American Century (Oxford University Press, 2013) and of Manifest and Other Destinies:  Territorial Fictions of the Nineteenth-Century United States (University of Nebraska Press, 2008), and she is coeditor of the collection Environmental Criticism for the Twenty-First Century (Routledge 2011).   With Professor Stephanie Foote, University of Illinois, Professor LeMenager is a founding editor of the on-line journal Resilience:  A Journal of the Environmental Humanities.
