Anya Ventura has an MFA in nonfiction writing from the University of Iowa and an MA in the Public Humanities from Brown University. Her essays and criticism have appeared in the Los Angeles Review of Books, Americas Quarterly, The Huffington Post, Temporary Art Review, (In)Visible Culture, and Artforum's Critics Picks, among others. She is formerly the arts research writer for MIT's Center for Art, Science & Technology and her essay "Slow Criticism: Art in the Age of Post-Judgement" appeared in the anthology of art writing, To Make a Public.
